This is why I blog...
It has been a long time since I closed a very successful blog I had. I remember its name, it was Bordeaux Chats. It was about college life, going out with my friends, and my starting days as an artist. After I became a mom, almost 11 years ago, I stopped writing to become a mindful mom, I was basically only parenting and working, even my art got became secondary. It was more important for me to work, as I am a single mom, and be the best mom I could.
Nowadays, I find the urge to write impossible to ignore. I am in a moment of life that I am devoting myself not only to motherhood but also to my art, my relationship with my amazing partner, and the ebbs and flows of life.
So, why this blog? Because I want to write, I want to talk about what I do, my recent forced journey into dietary restrictions, my spiritual nomadism, and basically my survival skills as an artist in a world where the rat race is encouraged. I was and am, true to my dreams, and if with these words I can encourage another mom to follow her dreams amongst the naysayers, then I have accomplished my goal. It has taken almost half my life to finally do and live what I longed for, and to take that road, was worth it. I would again take the road less traveled, if that means that I would be able to become the woman I wanted to be since ever.
You will find posts about what I do, my recent FODMAP diet journey, recipes, DIYs, mindfulness, meditation, and lots more. You will find I am an odd kind of woman, and its fine. We can all be weirdos, and its more than OK. So, c'mon in, I promise you will find an approachable human being in the other side of the screen, with good intentions for you!
